John W. Yeager is the third generation to run the family farm near Kimberton, Pennsylvania. John and his bride ZoAnne together ran the dairy starting in 1955 until the 1980's. In 1984, facing the financial challenges of a small family dairy (and the daughters were leaving home) John planted 1000's of Christmas trees. The family farm became a Cut Your Own Christmas Tree operation in 1990.
Currently Yeager's Tree Farm provides real Christmas Trees to hundreds of families in the greater Phoenixville area. Yeager's Tree Farm also offers beautiful wreaths and greenery to decorate your home. John and ZoAnne's daughters make and decorate the wreaths by hand. Wire rings with clamps hold the fresh greenery in place. Bows, pine cones and ornaments are artfully placed to create their masterpieces.
