What an enjoyable experience and well worth the time and ticket prices. All staff were kind, courteous, friendly and helpful. We were so impressed with the restoration of the old trains, we road the parlor. Gorgeous! Loved the warmth of the coal stove. If the weather is not very warm or rainy, do not hesitate to head here because the heat and comfort on the train is wonderful. They share historical and comical details as the train pushes down the track. The museaum across the street is a delight as well. What a great time for all ages!

This is a great Steam train experience! It is a short ride to and then back again - but if you love steam trains - OR if you and your children have never been on one - you should try it at least once! And this is a perfect combination with your visit to the National Train museum across the street with all of its electric and steam engines and cars to visit.
It is best to go during the week - as often the weekends are very busy.
This is actually an original steam engine line - from 1832 on until it was finally converted to a tourist experience. The first class cars are wonderful - and if you have bathroom needs then these are the only cars that have toilets.
This train line has a Christmas train and Thomas train event - do have your reservations early as they are wonderful times for you and your children - AND very popular!!!!

Short, out and back train ride through the Lancaster County countryside. Comfortable trains however the themed rides are more worth the price than the regular ride. My kids loved the Thomas and Santa rides when they were younger. Cute gift/toy shops on the premises. Check out the self-playing piano for a quarter in one of the shops.

Lots of great trains, a nice children's area, and by summer they will be finished with months of exhibit updating. It's also nice to walk out on the train yard. A place my husband and I love to walk through.

This is my 2nd time here. 1st time with Thomas the Train (which is hectic and crazy). Today, we are riding the Easter Bunny train. It's such a beautiful afternoon, parking is great, the staff are wonderful.
