Here You will find information on the upcoming Oley Fair. Our fair is a very unique true old fashioned, down home, country fair.
This year marks the 62nd anniversary of the Oley Fair. Our fair is made possible by the hundreds of volunteers that put in many hours before, during and after the fair. This year's fair will again require many volunteers, one which hopefully might be you!!
The Oley Valley Community Fair promotes good friendly competition among the many friends and neighbors of the surrounding Oley area. Each year you can see a wide variety of local products from the farm and home that are entered in many different categories. In 2006 our fair had 6,449 entries with a total premium distribution of $21,323.50. This is just an example of what kind of money can be won at the Oley Fair by exhibitors, both the young and the more experienced.
The Oley Fair is also known for it's famous French fries, hamburgers and much much more. I guarantee when you come to our fair, you will smell that famous good Dutch cooking aroma in the air. It will make you want to keep coming back for more. The real secret is that seventeen of our area churches and their congregations help prepare and serve this wonderful home style food. You will not find any food vendors or midways at our fair.
