It's eventful, perhaps every year or so. I wouldn't suggest making it an annual visit, but every other year isn't too bad. I enjoy buying the fresh baked cookies that family members enjoy. I sometimes buy those as gifts.

Great account of American history in the area. Can purchase items actually made on site. Reasonably priced. Great for the kids.

Felt like a time travel, the place is so carefully designed that you really get a flavour of the past . The Weaver , Blacksmith , Potter , Soldiers everybody was so informative and this was a really different and special experience. Highly recommend taking your kids there . The shop had an amazing collection of things some made in the village. NB : This place could be great for some photoshoot

Nice display of residence and businesses of frontier America spanning many generations. People in period dress who will give you some background on the village and history. All were super friendly and interesting. What I appreciated the most is their honesty....this is a replica, although many of the buildings are original and the furnishing are authentic, it is not exactly as the orifinal and they didn't hide that. They have also acknowledged the native Americans who were there first and a little of there story. I thought this was well done and recommend you visit.
