I came up with a bunch of family & friends. We had such a great weekend here! We rented a house nearby & took the time to enjoy ourselves white water rafting & checking out the Cumberland Falls & water slides. We had an awesome time! The area is absolutely beautiful! Next time I come back I will definitely bike ride on the trails, I heard nothing but great things about it! This is a great place to visit for a week, weekend or day. We all decided to make this a yearly weekend getaway because of all the fun we had. What a great time!

Ohiopyle is a great place to spend the day. Weekends are usually very crowded, but you can always find a place to take a dip in the water. Wear water shoes because it is do slippery. The waterfall is beautiful. Many people take engagement photoshoots here. The visitor center museum is interesting and fun for the kids. It is also fun to mine for gems and fossils. The rafting is amazing and so exhilarating.

Had so much fun! If you enjoy adventure and being outdoors, you'll enjoy Ohilpyle. You can rent bikes, take challenging hikes, have a picnic, and white water rafting! Ohiopyle is right on the rails to trails so the biking is fairly level and we'll maintained. The rafting can span from level one to level four rapids. We hiked a moderately rugged trail and a challenging trail with boulders and hillsides (the second trail was unexpected) It was clean and beautiful. Great way to spend the day!

This wasn't great Campground. They had hot and cold showers. Indoor plumbing. Lots of campgrounds. I would advise you to maybe drive through and make sure you get a level one though. All in all I thought it was very good. Lots of raccoons and bugs but very modern and convenient to some of the local towns where you can pick up things that you may have forgotten. Lots of trails for hiking as well as water activities.

Nice state park. It has relatively private areas although the most private ones are on a bit of a slope. My only complaint would be that depending on your site the fire pit might be really deep meaning that you have to buy even more wood from them to keep the fire at a decent level.
