I went to Hidden Valley for a weekend getaway. The room had everything you would need. It snowed pretty heavily when we were there and they were good about shoveling the parking lots and walkways. The included breakfast had a lot of options for food/drink but there was very limited seating so we had to sit in the lobby. They had a shuttle that would pick you up/drop you off when you wanted. The ski lodge was nice and they had friendly staff working at the rental shop and on the ski lift. The hills were nice to ski down. They had a bunch of different courses to choose from for beginners to advanced. We spend 6 hours out there before we got too cold. It was nice to have the all day option. Overall, it was a good experience. I just wish their staff at the restaurants were more attentive since our food/drink orders were messed up multiple times on 2 different occasions.

Hidden Valley is an excellent place to go for beginners or those trying to get the crowds. It can feel like you have the mountain to yourself at times even though the mountain is one of the smaller ones around. Great rooms and you can usually score decent package deals throughout the year.

Hidden Valley is a great place to get started with any activity involving ski and snow boarding. I myself I beginner in both activities found it easy after the 3 or fourth time I you get the hand of it. There is only one down side people. All sorts of people bring their children and you always have to look out for the little guys. Besides that like I said hidden valley is great hope you enjoy.

Fun day ski destination. Was here on a prime Saturday with a group of boy scouts and they had a blast. Snow conditions were good and the trails were well maintained. Waits weren't bad at all, and practically non-existent in the evening. Snack bar was a little pricey but had a good selection.

Great little resort/residential community. Grounds are well-maintained all year and every season offers something different to appreciate with the changing weather and scenery. I would like to see some kind of small store or casual food options available outside of the winter months though. Everything shuts down for 8 or 9 months of the year and it would be nice to have food options or access to some essentials without needing to make a run down off the ridge. From what I have seen there are enough people up here year round to support something like this.
