This is a fun little addition to any trip to Hershey. The ride through the “factory” is cute and informative. It’s somewhat reminiscent of some of the movie-themed rides at Disney with a different candy character and their story around each turn. The Disney-esque 3D movie is also cute...but watch the back of your calves! Creating your own candy bar is also a fun and unique experience all kids (small and grown!) can really enjoy. There is also a trolley tour on which you can learn the history of Milton Hershey and his town. We didn’t take the trolley, since I have some familiarity with the history already, but I know it is an interesting story and worth learning about.

We love chocolate world. I have been going since I was a kid and now my kids love it. We live close so it's the perfect rainy day activity. The ride is really fun, informative, and kid friendly. Plus you get free chocolate at the end, so it's a win win. The shop has all kinds of yummy candy and different variations you won't find in the stores. They have concessions too with all kinds of sweet and some savory treats.

Our family had a great time here and we all enjoyed the "Make Your Chocolate Bar" lab was fun. Helpful Tip: The First Name you enter at the beginning will print on the candy bar wrapper. Keep it clean and fun. The tasting is similar to a wine tasting experience with group voting and the 4D movie keeps the attention of all ages. We liked that the prices for candy and other memorabilia were not over priced, however can be purchased almost anywhere during the right season.

Very nice and clean. The smell of fresh chocolate is amazing. Remember, you are walking into a giant gift shop for Hershey but it is pretty cool. You can but just about anything Hershey related from sweat shirts to Christmas ornaments. They offer a free animated ride with singing/dancing chocolate that takes you through the history of the company. It also teaches you about how they make chocolate and where it comes from. Great for kids and adults are entertained too. Additionally, they have paid attractions like chocolate tasting, customized chocolate making (including custom labels) and a "4D" movie. My kids made the custom chocolates and loved it.

It's a giant place dedicated to making and selling you chocolate...and t-shirts, and mugs, and hats, and blankets, and candles, and stuffed animals. But the "factory tour" is free, which is nice, even though it's more of a run through a static replica of a factory than an actual factory. In late April it was relatively quiet, but based on the queue railings, it seems the lines could be extremely long at certain times of the year. They do sell products here that you don't see elsewhere and they have regular food on sale in cafe area in addition to tons of sweets. Once nice thing is that parking fees are based on how long you are on the property. We were there for just a couple hours so parking was free. All-in-all a fun place to experience if the crowds aren't too large.
