We always have a great time here. There are hands on learning activities for kids of all ages. My 5, 7, and 11 year olds love it and there are plenty of activities for toddlers and preschoolers as well. The frogs and friends exhibit ( summer 2018) is great and the man in charge of it was bringing out snakes and other animals for the kids to interact with. My 7 year old was on cloud 9! The man was great, explaining all sorts of interesting facts about the animals and was very good with the kids. A family membership is well worth it if you live nearby.

Really fun museum. Only two floors, but they have very engaging exhibits that my 2, 6, 8 and 11 year olds all loved. Clean and well maintained. There are couches and chairs in the areas that appeal to little kids. It was very nice to be able to sit comfortably while my two year old played. The staff that were at the different exhibits were really friendly and interacted well with kids. The museum offers different events. Members that like to travel can take advantage of reciprocal admission to a lot of science museums that participate in the ATSC reciprocity program.

Real nice little science center. Definitely geared towards younger children (under 16) but had a lot of nice hands-on experiences as well. The staff were great and they did have some programs for Scouts and groups.

I was extremely disappointed with the guest service at the center. My parents have membership for my children when they visit. We stopped by on our way back to DE just to see what it looked like. We only wanted to stop for less than 10 mins. The girl at the front desk said it would cost $30 to walk through. We told her we were not staying but she said it was still $30. She then called a supervisor over. I told her the same thing and her response was “You can’t expect someone to follow you around for ten minutes. We can’t trust that you won’t touch something.” She did not even offer us a tour to show me what my children are doing during the day. The real upsetting part was she just went back on the bench to sit down and talk to the girl cleaning the windows. I will stick to the Franklin institute. They are eager to let parents know what is available.

A cute little science center with lots of hands-on activities that filled 2 hours of our family time on the weekend. The activities kept my whole family engaged, and the staff was super friendly. The website is very informative, so I recommend you take a look before visiting... especially if you want to catch one of their live shows.
