"Steel Magnolias"

Set in the early 1980's, "Steel Magnolias" takes place in Truvy's small-town Louisiana beauty salon where all the ladies who are "anybody" come to have their hair done and catch up on the latest gossip. This stage and film classic brings us some of our favorite characters- Ouiser, Clairee, Annelle, M'Lynn and her daughter Shelby who suffers with Type 1 diabetes and risks everything to have her own child. Clever, poignant and hilarious dialogue evolve into a deeply moving conclusion.
