Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake, Hesston, PA

The foremost mountain biking trail system in the eastern United States, the Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake were built by the International Mountain Bicycling Association. Twenty-four incredible trails, totaling roughly 30 miles, of all different levels of difficulty, and positioned to build on each other to create longer rides. Not such an experienced rider? Most trail sections can be completed by any skill level at a slower pace, making this Hesston location a rider’s dream. Great portions of flowy trail! 

Roth Rock TrailMix, State College, PA

Set in the beautiful Rothrock State Forest, Rothrock TrailMix is an amazing collection of trails. Spend up to six hours exploring this space, which combines every type of trail imaginable, from fire roads to technical to machine built. Be advised Spring and Fall are also hunting season on this year-round system. 

Wissahickon Valley Park, Philadelphia, PA

Conveniently located for city folk who can’t fight the draw of the outdoors, Wissahickon Valley Park is a great option in the Keystone State. Fourteen intermediate miles of single track riding, ranging from flat to hilly. Well maintained with beautiful scenery! 

Geisinger Trails, Danville, PA

Five miles of intermediate single track riding trails, with all different types of trails for all levels of expertise. Whether you want to work on your technical riding, downhill, or climbing, this lovely Danville location will have something for you!

Quebec Run Trails, Elliotsville, PA

A hidden gem of the Pennsylvanian mountain biking scene, Quebec Run Trails features 20 miles of advanced riding, often without another soul in sight. Part technical, part fast and smooth, Quebec Run is a great way for a more experienced rider to prove his grit! 

Rattling Creek, Lykens, PA

At just over 22 miles, Rattling Creek is a decent length ride for advanced riders. The system is a good portion rock garden, so bring a bike with a bigger wheel if you have it! Great views along the way if you need to take a much-deserved break. 

Cowbell Hollow, Lewisburg, PA

An intermediate option, measuring just longer than eight miles. Rocky and exhilarating, this Lewisburg location is perfect if you want to fit an afternoon of riding into a busy schedule. 

Moraine State Park Bike Trail, New Castle, PA

Take in majestic Lake Arthur as you conquer the 6.8 miles of Moraine State Park Bike Trail! A majority of the system is paved, making way for riders of various skill levels to get out and have some fun. A great opportunity to teach little ones who are new to biking. 

The Yellow Creek Loop, Indiana, PA

Twenty-one miles of trail, doable at once or in portions as an out and back. Well marked, and workable for all skill levels at an appropriate pace. 

Lake Nockamixon Mountain Bike Trails, Quakertown, PA
