The festival includes over 200 home and garden vendors along historic Germantown Avenue from Rex Avenue to Willow Grove Avenue.

2024 Home + Garden Festival Schedule of Events

Makers Village (8000 block of Germantown Avenue): Watch the artisans create work during live demonstrations beginning at 11 a.m.

Stagecrafters Theater (8130 Germantown Avenue): Enjoy dance and theatrical performances, including:

-- Jenks Choir performs music from “Aladdin” from 11:30 a.m. to Noon
-- SNAP Co. dance performances at noon and 12:30
-- Tarot card readings by the Amazing Carson from 1 to 3 p.m.
-- Create memories that will last forever at a photo booth from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-- Enjoy the story of Rumpelstiltskin performed by Children’s Theater with shows at 1, 2, and 3 p.m.

Live Music:

-- Bethlehem Pike Stage (Germantown Avenue and Bethlehem Pike)
11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Dukes of Destiny
2 to 5 p.m. – Red X

-- Buckley Park (Germantown Avenue and Hartwell Lane)
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. DJ Esteban

-- The Venetian Club (8000 Germantown Avenue)
3 To 5 p.m. Second Story Walkup
7 p.m. Post Festival performance by the Michael Allman Band

More Can’t Miss Activities!

-- Henna Tattoos: (8317 Germantown Avenue): Featuring arm and hand henna tattoos by Henna by Sushma.

-- Outdoor at 
McNally’s Tavern (8634 Germantown Avenue): A Chestnut Hill institution, McNally’s opens up and will host an outdoor cookout. In addition to cooking up tasty sandwiches like the Schmitter, McNally’s will offer beer and spring-inspired slushies.

-- Used Book Sale at 
Tavern on the Hill (8636 Germantown Avenue): Tavern on the Hill will be hosting Hilltop Books, the bookstore of the Friends of the Chestnut Hill Library. Used books will be available for purchase!

-- It’s Cinco de Mayo! El Poquito and El Limon will bring the fiesta to Germantown Avenue

No refunds are given for vendor cancellations. Vendors may only sell or give their space to another vendor with written and express permission from the Chestnut Hill Business Association. All vendor cancellations must be received in writing, and “no-shows” without communication will impact future acceptance. We do not issue credits for future events except for a rain date. If a fire, acts of god, strikes, or other uncontrollable circumstances force the postponement or cancellation of Chestnut Hill’s Home and Garden Festival, the CHBA shall have no liability or obligation to make any refund. If both the original date and rain date need to be canceled, the CHBA shall make every effort to refund such a portion of the vendor fees not spent or encumbered.
